Canned Gatorade & Pokémon are peak vibes. We’re drinking out of hoses, The Legend of Zelda on the 64 is all gas, and Tiger Woods is steamrolling the entire field on Tour — Life couldn’t be better.

Meanwhile, golf is changing.

The “corporate elite” are making the game less accessible. Committee members are tightening the rules. And the guy in the pro shop seems personally committed to preventing any chance of having an enjoyable Saturday.

But they didn't understand one thing.

And now, nearly three decades later, we're proud to continue absolutely none of that tradition...

Except for the golf addiction.

The hopelessly devoted are we who keep the old spirit of golf alive and well. We play whenever we can. Wherever we can. Before work. After work. On vacation. During family events we probably should have attended.

No committees.

No corporate memberships.

No idea where the group in front of us went.

Just the game.
